Position Summary

AlphaBoost Consulting is seeking a driven and talented Tech Sales Associate to join our team as a Google Cloud Sales Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with decision-makers in the SMB segment within Indian companies, profiling prospects, nurturing relationships, and working closely with our team to close accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect Profiling: Identify and research decision-makers within the SMB segment of Indian companies to target for Google Cloud solutions.

  • Account Nurturing: Engage with prospects through emails, phone calls, and follow-up communications to build trust and maintain engagement.

  • Pipeline Management: Effectively manage a sales pipeline to track progress and outcomes of all leads.

  • Meeting Setup: Schedule and facilitate meetings between clients and senior sales executives for closing opportunities.

  • Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with potential clients, ensuring a high level of service and effective communication throughout the sales cycle.

  • Market Knowledge: Stay updated on Google Cloud solutions and industry trends, ensuring a deep understanding of cloud products and the competitive landscape.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information clearly and professionally.

  • A sharp understanding of B2B sales processes, preferably within the cloud or tech industry.

  • Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and products; understanding of the sales cycle for cloud solutions is highly desirable.

  • Self-motivated, with a proven ability to work independently and meet targets.

Work Schedule

  • Training Period:  Monday to Friday (India time), including shadowing sessions with senior U.S.-based personnel.

  • Regular Schedule (Post-Training):  Friday through Tuesday (India time)

Training & Onboarding Approach

​The successful candidate will undergo a structured training program, beginning with support for a single client account. Responsibilities will expand progressively through cross-training, enabling broader operational support capabilities. The goal is to ensure a smooth transition into the role, with the offshore team becoming fully operational within weeks of onboarding.
